Going through our photos, we’ve overlooked posting a handful of images for no apparent reason. These pics have no uniting theme other than they all centre around Fitz.
Above and below: These are from his first day in the hospital.
Fitz had to spend 2.5 days in the NICU to make sure he didn’t have any infections. Here he is chilling out in the infant care unit.
Above and below: Fitz spent his last night in NICU detached from any monitoring equipment and slept with us in a special room for nursing mothers. It was like a hotel room in a hospital without the charge!
Carly was adamant that this onesie be the first one he ever wore.
Above: Carly’s sister Heather holds Fitz a few hours after he arrival.
Above: Proud grandmother Susan (now known as “Nanny”) holds Fitz at one week.
While out at a midwife appointment, Fitz displays his future teenager angst by rolling his eyes and giving us the middle finger.
Above: Momma’s boy.
Bath time! Of his four baths to date this one was he most enjoyable (probably becuz it was a photo shoot).
By 20 days-old, Fitz’s personality is starting to come through.
His passion for hockey is already showing. Above he reacts to a Leafs goal, and below to a Sens goal.
