Week 46 included a lot of time at the swimming pool and on our porch. But it also included a trip to visit Fitz’s great Grandma in Barrie.

We bumped into Carly’s friend Karen and her daughter Una on Roncesvalles this week. Una is 13 months and was crawling around on the sidewalk. We sat them down together a Baby Sidewalk Party broke. People were stopping to watch them crawl around (in Fitz’s case spin around in a circle using his heels for propulsion). The best part about the following photos is that the two of them seem to hamming it like ol’ time buddies.

Matt’s cousin Kris Kuhn got married in Niagara Falls this weekend so it gave us a chance to dress Fitz up is his bow-tie for the occasion. We stayed with Steffany, Matt’s other Kuhn cousin, where Fitz got to meeting a pair of dogs up close.
ABOVE & BELOW: At Steffany’s place Fitz pretended to crawl (those pics are just him posing), while he got up close with very the curious canine duo of Penny and Abby.
ABOVE: This is a new smile. He brings it out a few times a day when he seems to be mugging for you or pleased with himself.
BELOW: This melted Matt’s heart — the kid is already into maps.
As Fitzy hits 10 months, Canada reaches 147. We celebrated the long-weekend by playing on the porch and visiting the Legion Hall on the Lake Shore, not far from our place, for an authentic Canadian experience.
