While in Ottawa, Fitz got to hang out and meet many members of the Dunster clan.

We brought Fitz to Ottawa for the May long-weekend and he continued to melt hearts, especially when he wore a bow tie and skinny jeans.

Fitz had a busy week: he went to Ottawa for 5 days with his mom to hang out with his grandparents and returned home to celebrate his dad’s 40th birthday. On the train to and from Canada’s capital city, he attracted much attention from passengers: “He has a perfectly shaped head!” one woman said and “Fitzgerald!? No one in his class will have that name!” said another.

ABOVE & BELOW: We have introduced a new play toy, affectionately known as the Circle of Neglect. Fitz half-sits/half-stands in a cloth seat and can spin around to play with different spinny-springy-soft things.
ABOVE: He is a constant drooler now and is often blowing bubbles because of this. He also doesn’t seem to like the sun toy lurking over his shoulder. He has swatted at it and stared it down numerous times.
ABOVE & BELOW: Fitz spent time in front of the fireplace with his dad before his dad’s 40th birthday dinner.

Fitz has become a very excitable young man whenever he is placed upright on his two legs. He is quite strong and stable, but that shouldn’t surprise anyone who has seen his super-solid-yet-beyond-chubby legs. We have no idea how long it’ll be until he walks but we assume that whenever it happens he’ll hit the ground running, literally.
This is a montage of an extended and exciting assisted stand (individual photos below).
Christmas 2013 was spent in Ottawa where Fitz got to mingle with his cousins (second cousins if we want to get technical).

In part 1 of Mr. Fitz Goes to Ottawa, we find our protagonist growing and being adored on his first trip north of Bloor and east of Spadina.
Above: Carly has said she thinks Fitz might be an actor one day. Well, here we have “The Many Faces of Fitzgerald”, his first performance art piece.
Above: Grandpa Dunster seems to be the first person to be able to coax a smile out of Fitz on command, even during tummy time.
Above: A little love from Mommy.
Above: Fitz contemplates meaning the of Life. Though, he’s more likely to be thinking about whether he should spit-up now or wait until he’s sitting on someone’s lap.
Above two photos: Fitz decided it would be gentlemanly of him to wear pants and a shirt to Thanksgiving dinner…
Above two photos: …But as soon as he arrived at Uncle Michael & Aunt Beyla’s Thanksgiving dinner Fitz gets all snobby and falls asleep, though Grandma Dunster is still entertained.
