March 2015: 18 months, yo

ABOVE & BELOW: Fitz has been teething a lot lately, so his soother is often in use.

ABOVE & BELOW: Our friends Jen and Andy have a 4 year old son, Asher, who had his birthday party at a giant sized kid play fort. Fitz went for about 2 hours and had an amazing time, especially with the pedal car. He got in and out of that thing a hundred times and pushed other kids out of the way when they tried to move in to play with the car themselves.

February 2015: It’s all about the hair at 17 months

ABOVE & BELOW: Fitz has taken up a new spot in his bedroom: sitting on the desk or shelf to get a view out the back window. Mostly he thinks he sees cars and trucks. Oh, and that hair — look how big it is!?!

January 2015: On the move in the winter

ABOVE & BELOW: Near the end of January Fitz and Carly travelled to Ottawa by train. Fitz liked looking out the window but found it difficult to sleep.

November 2014: Walking and eating at 15 months

37 Weeks: May Long Weekend in Ottawa with Fitz

We brought Fitz to Ottawa for the May long-weekend and he continued to melt hearts, especially when he wore a bow tie and skinny jeans.

36 Weeks: Spring has arrived; Fitz hits the swings

The warm weather is allowing us the chance to explore the nieghbourhood more thoroughly with FItz. On Sunday (and Mother’s Day!) we went up to a park and put Fitz on one of the baby swings, and boy did he like it! (There are three videos near the bottom of the post)

35 Weeks: Fitz goes porching

The good weather finally seems to be arriving, which means Fitzy is getting out more. This weekend we spent time with him on our porch. Matt calls this activity “porching.”

31 Weeks: Mr. Fitz goes to Vancouver, fight edition

We spent the last night of our trip back at Andrea and Grant’s place.

ABOVE & BELOW: Cameron and Fitz seemed to like playing with each other, until Cameron decided to twist off a piece of Fitz’s cheek. Twice.

24 Weeks: Fitz’s first tooth & a lot more sitting up

The biggest development this week is the arrival of a bottom tooth! It seems to have just poked through the gum. This may explain Fitz’s Niagara Falls-like drooling. We can now add “teething” to our list of Reasons Fitz Might Be Making Noise.
